I appreciate that PS3 permits a wider user base and that the Cross hotbar is as close to acceptable a control scheme as anyone's ever devised, but SE's unfathomable decision not to permit keyboard+mouse for a GCD MMO means that you're willingly playing at a disadvantage if you choose to go the console route. You can justify the decision to go console any way you wish, but there's not a single one I've ever heard that I wouldn't ultimately classify under lazy for one reason or another.

How does a GCD negatively impact a console player? Being a PS3 player myself I can think of/have experienced several disadvantages. But this? There is GCD regardless of console or PC, so how is that a specific disadvantage to console owners?

Sitting at a computer desk is every bit as lazy as playing on the couch.

Am I misinterpreting this or am I reading epic levels of douchery here? Reason like, "not everyone can afford to buy a PC just to play FFXIV on", "lots of younger people who were gifted a PS3 don't own a PC capable". You classify both of those as lazy?

Hell... its a game. People can play a "game" however they want. I personally play on a PC, I'm mostly a PC gamer and will agree that PC is vastly superior, that being said... you sir/ma'am are a dick.

just throwing this out there.. I'm pretty sure you can use mouse abd keyboard to play on ps3, but using it for 1 game doesn't make it financially viable for me personally. and another, if using a ps3 means I'm "willing to play at a disadvantage" man's I'm lazy... if I'm playing at a 'disadvantage' that would mean I have to work harder to be 'on par', so by default, that would not be laziness... having to switch between hotbars to use the abilities I need to, while keeping up with rotations, while keeping track of what's going on.. rather than having every ability on screen that I could just point and click... doesn't sound too lazy to me.... js
