    Thanks, fixed both.

I guess the question is, what do we do with spreadsheet data for healing? Healing is completely situational and conditional. It's hard to utilize static figures for developing a healing strategy when any given fight will give you a different set of stresses and variable. Some fights, for example, may require more AOE healing.

You can take what you want from the spreadsheet. For example: you have a situation where you can top 3 people up with either Cure or Medica, but you don't know which is more efficient, one uses more GCDs, heals more, but only uses slightly more mana whilst the other uses one GCD, less mana, but heals for less. However, their health is not the same, you might overheal with Cure but you won't with Medica, so how do you figure out which is more efficient? You use the spreadsheet.

You're also right in that it doesn't calculate HPM for AoE heals "accurately", for this, you can simply alter the overheal amount to a negative value. So for Cure3, right now default is set at 40% so what this means is that normally with no overheal, the target gets 100% effectiveness of the heal (overheal = 0%), now the target gets 60% (so overheal is 40%). You can change this to -100%, meaning Cure3 now can heal for full effectiveness on two targets (2x100%). You can set this to -300% (this is 4 targets, which is commonly used to 4 stack Twintania Fireballs) against no overheal Cure2s (but keep in mind you need to cast 4x). Of course you'll easily see that Cure3 is far more efficient than 4 Cure2s as it should be.

I didn't include Cure2/3 free procs because the average mana saved is determined by fight length, and as such, it doesn't compare well to impromptu comparisons such as the one listed above. In the above example, you're testing whether to use Cure2 or 3. The mana reduction is irrelevant because I can't rely on it to activate and then use that activation to compare which is more efficient.
