I'm that @$$hole. I leave all the time. I start each run by asking who is new. If no one responds I assume people know what they're doing. When they prove to me through their actions or lack of them I leave. Call me an elitist if you want to but there are certain things people should know. CC if you can, follow the marked targets, stay out of the red zones, if I'm not taking much damage it is OK for the healer to dps a bit.

For example, I've been running Garuda HM for the axe. I'm almost full DL (missing 2 pieces) and when I see people in there with AF1 or lvl 39 accessories? Nope, I am going to leave. When the adds split and people go after the red one first and don't touch the green? I am going to leave.

I put in the time and effort to gear myself up and learn the fights. If you can't be reasonably expected to do the same I have no sympathy for you.
