    Highly unlikely - to the best of my knowledge no FF game has ever broken the 9999 character HP limit.
    When you play as a monster in Monstrosity in FFXI, you can and will easily exceed 9999 HP.

    Most of the early games with this limit had it because it was a display limitation. I don't know why people treat this as some sort of iconic FF symbol. It's just godsdangged number.
