    This game has been a WoW clone since ARR was released. So I'm not sure what you think is changing about it.

    I think it goes a bit too far to say FFXI has been ruined. But I definitely agree with you that the last couple of expansions have made it a lot easier.

    except unfortunately WOW doesn't lag horrifically.

    Really? Because last time i played i got stuck in the loot lag bug for over an hour. Even logging out and back in didn't fix it. Good times.
