How is it more chaotic? The pattern repeats itself over and over. Even if you look at P5 if the DPS would just stack on his butt there really isn't much to avoid. As a DPS you have one focus at that point and that is to avoid the AoE's because the healers need to focus on the Tumult's and Mountain Busters. there is simply no excuse for a DPS getting hit by MB or a Weight of the Land if they are doing their jobs correctly. People fail to understand that the 200DMG that they did while getting hit by that AoE, does not make up for the exponential damage that was lost by their death.

I also have a big issue with DPS who say they are avoiding the AoE's but are the only ones getting hit 3/4/5 times a fight. As a healer i'm sorry if I can keep a tank alive and still not get hit by an AoE, what is your excuse?

It could be lag on their side, which makes it look like they're not moving until after they're about to get hit, or sometimes latency (it still exists you know). I've had moments where I was outside of the AoE and still got hit by it. There are also moments where it's impossible to dodge the WotL, due to people sitting at just the right spots to where there is no safe zone they can get to in time (the cause of many of my deaths in there). I'm not saying it's not completely on them, sometimes it is something out of a single player's control. You can't blame the player for 100% of the incidents.

My favorite "cheap unavoidable Titan death" is during the square pattern of bombs in P5, when he throws the landslide right as the bombs are about to go off. If he throws it right in front of you, you're dead. If you stop to avoid it the bombs blow you up, and if you keep moving you get bopped off the edge.

Also love it when you get three WoTLs that spawn in a triangle with you in the center. There's no direction you can move to get out of that big an area in time.

Those are the only things I ever die to on Titan anymore. And they're all bad luck, so it happens maybe once in every ten runs.

This move is actually easily avoidable. You just bait the landslide by standing on a corner bomb then move to either side once you see where he's placing landslide. As a caster you can move out of all wotl by activating sprint during every bomb phase. It will still be active for wotl. If you are caught in the middle of a large area you will have plenty of time to move out.

    1. You are doing it wrong. The mechanic is structured so that the middle line of bombs ALWAYS go off at the exact same time he landslides. You bait his landslide, move to one of the 2 other bombs in your line, then go to the middle line immediately after his landslide.
    2. This is due to you not anticipating the wotl and realizing there are 3 people surrounding you. The only time you should get caught in this is if people pre-dodge right before wotl.

I get maybe maybe ten minutes before I die against normal mode Titan because of this. Why do I even try to dodge in dungeons.
