Tell me what you want SE to do? You have every class to level 50. You own all the best gear. You are not alone, there are others like you. However it is a very small percentage of the player base that has spent countless hours accomplishing all of that.
So I ask you, what do you want SE to do about it?
What we suffer is "the curse of knowledge". For new people, most of the dungeons after level 24 is considered "intense". For us, we just don't understand why newbies do not "get the mechanic" when everything is spelled out for you right in front of your screen... For them Brayflox is HARD ("you want me to Esuna all of you? move out of the way? and cure three people???), Sunken Temple is "ZOMG WTF was that", Cutter's Cry was "intense" and Titan "baby trial" was "fck this, I swear I ran and out of the train track from hell".
Better go do something else with your life then.
I don't mean to be rude, but people like you will always be out of content if you spend every waking moment gaming. :/
Beein completely out of my point is a horrible thing right ?
Why comparing absolutely anything to WoW ? WoW vanilla was stupidly bad. Same for any kind of new mmo that is released. Give me one example of modern mmos that had plenty of content under 1 year after release and I'll sincerely be impressed, but from me to you I actually got the answer already. Right now this game got a lot of stuff goin on, and as a lot of new mmos that are released since these 3 last years, is more headed toward casual character customisation simply because people enjoy it.
More hardcore based titles or just sandbox titles aren't workin half as well as FFXIV ARR. The truelly thing missin, for now, as in every new MMO is sandbox user generated content, and the only kind of games where you can make that happen actually got Open world PvP in their design so you can create some "unofficial" persistent battles days after day OR something like what they did in Neverwinter, user generated missions / instances
Here it's all about instanced content driven by a limited story ... and it's the norm lately. MMos arent these long grinds they used to be. If WoW worked that well it's because the game letted everyone gear up at a relatively high speed, coupled with good pve ... and correct me if I'm wrong, but its exactly what we re havin here too.

I suggest getting a life outside of the game. Maybe a job? A girl/guy friend. Im not trying to be mean here but there is plenty of content in this game you just have to much time to play a game. Seriously life is great outside of a screen try it![]()
2.1 Offered:
1. Quests you can do once a day.
2. Treasure hunting you can do once every 18 hours (as they more than likely intended) or more if you blow gil on it
3. Rehashed Primals, weekly lockout on loot.
4. Hard Mode Dungeons and Pharos
5. Labyrinth of Ancients - Weekly lockout on loot.
6. Ultima Hard.
7. Housing.
8. Reintroduction of Moogle Primal fight.
9. Expansion of Main Storyline.
Now, out of all of that, how is that supposed to last 3-6 months...? Housing being the exception, you don't need to spend "every waking moment" to be done with 2.1, even the most casual person cleared most of 2.1's content at least once by now unless they play only an hour a day and doesn't seriously pursue content. (Read: Actually care to do content.)
We've been over this - Leveling and grinding Gil for housing isn't content - Redoing old content doesn't constitute as new content just because you get tomes, seals and gil for it once a day. Anyone who's played since launch (even before if legacy) has done most of the content by now unless you took the absolutely slowest route possible.

What Tupsi says is correct on what 2.1 has to offer. However, personally for me I still haven't even touched Coil yet nor got my ilvl90 gear, so in the end I have plenty to do and will last me will 2.2.
What she is wrong about that 2.2 lasting a max of 6 months. I understand Patches get delayed, but never for that long past it's projected due date. 3-4 months is a better time frame.
