Honestly, no offence, but people who have maxed out, all the best gear, every class/craft to 50... do you not have lives? How do you find that much time?


I play for a good 4-5 hours every night, possibly longer, and my SMN has like 3 ilvl 90 bits of gear... my highest profession is like level 21... I would say I put a lot of time into this game, but compared to everyone else, I probably don't even put in that much... it's crazy.

It's been a week, I've ran and cleared Crystal Tower, now running it every night to get drops to upgrade my gear. I run coil every week. Usually 1-4 since I need more gear for t5. I've yet to clear any of the extreme modes (hard finding groups). Still working on grinding beast tribe. Grinding myth/philo. PvP... and totally content.

People need to slow down if you've blasted through all the new stuff already...

My crafts were a few hours a day for a week each craft, I synthed HQ leve items, it went fast. Coil is an hour every week.
Twintania was 2-3 hours a day for a week. The new Primals were 2 hours on Garuda, two 3 hour sessions on Titan, and two 3 hour sessions on Ifrit. The content in this game doesn't exactly take a huge time to complete, hence the quick consumption.
I play about as much as you do by the sounds of things, I guess I just use my time more efficiently.

You have to remember that the majority of the maxed leveled players are Legacy players who have been playing since FF14 1.0. (which is a good amount of the player population)

It is because of Legacy Players why Yoshi-P has plans to release new classes, Jobs, and raise level cap through future Major Updates rather than waiting only for Expansions.

So now we are comparing the content of a game that has had over 10+ years of content developments to a game that has had less than 6 month? That makes no sense.

Under that same arguement FFXI has far more content than FFXIV (also 10+ years of development).

In 10+ years FFXIV will have plenty to do (although those that play non stop except to sleep and don't experience anything outside).
There is no way to make enough content to satisfy this type of person.

Final release was the initial offering.
2.1 is the completion of most of the content that is did not make it to final release
2.2 is the completion of any remaining pieces plus the beginning of the building of this game.

If you are burning content so fast maybe you need more than 1 game, or you need to experience the world outside your window/door.

Careful how you word things...I don't think people would take kindly to legacy players once again feelign that their sh*t don't stink and they are the reason for all the choices made in game. Self entitlement is a dangerous path.
