Dungeons, without duty roulette, give more exp than FATEs, unless your party is very very bad, or you're doing Sastasha at lv 49.
This. A proper level dungeon will give approximate 1/2 a level per run. Leveling every two dungeons is a lot faster than any fate area ever was. Especially when you fill in the queue times with other things that also give you exp.
Btw, summoner has a side job. Look into scholar leveling. The exp you get on one counts for the other.
No more cast bars for Bard! Thank you, Yoshi-P! All hail our lord and savior!
What a friend of mine told me:
If tank: Insta-queue into dungeons and spam the hell out of them. Get better at tanking, ask for advice, help your team out, ask for help when needed, and assist newcomers. Get to know boss rotations and solve any party disputes. Be a good leader and ask how you did at the end.
If anything else: Queue into the duty finder while doing FATEs in one awesome leveling party.
Just wanted to throw in that after you do your roulette for the day, just queue for the dungeon equal to your level.
On my 48 warrior last night doing AV I was getting 4k per kill! Then after I hit 50 on him I started on my pugilist. The queue was only about 8 minutes for sastasha. Got 1100xp per kill and a full level only required 30k!
This route feels much better than fates to me.
Reread all the words I typed. You do not mention your level so I can assume you went there too early solo, or I am better than I think I am. The only fate I did not try to solo in standard leveling areas is chimera. I did not die once post 30 and did not ever run out of time. In most cases it allowed for backup to arrive and allowed people to see it was safe to continue at lowman numbers with a Titan in the zone.
