It would be cool if at their booth at E3 they had videos and stuff of new content planned, and some new concept art for xiv, just to get interest in the game, maybe even from people who didn't know it existed.

E3 is essentially for new and upcoming games and hardware... Why on earth would they waste booth space on a patch for a game released last year?
People clearly have no idea how much quality booth space costs at expos ^^
What about they are working to get the Stuff done, you guys are screaming and crying for? xD a lil bit more patience please. I didnt expect News before Friday.
The funny thing about it is ...
Here's a model of when I expect new info releases.
Day 1: Yoshida posts a letter with vague references to new agendas.
Day 2-5: Reps on forum clean up the mess he started with inaccurate translations or mysterious comments.
Day 6-14: No contact from anyone anywhere.
Day 15-20: I think "any day now;" Reps start posting random quips about nothing.
Day 20-22: I think "WTF are they doing over there" and stop checking Lodestone.
Day 22-27: Someone in LS informs me of Lodestone update.
So pretty much tack a week on to when I think any team trying to "keep in touch" with the fan base would reasonably keep in touch and that's what SE's done. It really screws up my sense of timeliness, but it's consistent for me at least.
So I pretty much gave up checking this morning, threw my hands up in the air with an exasperated sigh and a shake of the head... which means any day now. Probably Monday at the latest. Any takers?

Well, my "any day now" includes today. ^^
I just won't be checking as of yesterday's disappointment.
That means from today within 4-5 business days.
If my equation is correct, Friday is the best answer. Heh.
Though my equation is roughly relative to when I get fed up with hearing nothing for 2 weeks.
It's not an exact science.
Yup, they have it setup on something like 15 screens. Friend of mine is there at the moment, and he commented on how small the SE booths were overall.
Historically it has been excluded from the "lineup" and given its own floor space. In 2005 it wasn't even in the Square Enix booth as I recall. Even then it was like it was the red-headed stepchild of the company.
