My question to all of the elitists

This is correct. Unfortunately, I've seen too many players that, while they have their AF (aka welfare ilvl50), their other slots are usually populated with sub level 20 items or worse, in some cases, they don't even have a ring on. There's accessories you can get from the Grand Company as well.

Every time I see a level 50 combat class wearing GP earrings, or mages in strength gear, or melee's in INT gear... I die a little inside. Why do so many of these people exist, and who is carrying them through the dungeons? Stop... please, just educate these poor souls before they play in traffic or something.

That said, I do agree with the OP. There's far too many people who flat-out refuse to do HM primals with anyone not wielding a relic weapon. I guess they forgot that to get the relic, you need to beat them first.

Do it in AF+primal/GC weapon like most of us did a few months back: grab some friends, fill slots, and keep trying until you get it. Other than that i think people are saying it's easy because there isn't any 95% RNG attacks and it's all scripted (smfh) but it shouldn't hurt to help newbies.

Most "elitists" noobed it up just as much as everyone else when they first started a particular piece of new content. A lot of people had the benefit of being carried and taught a new strategy by an established group of experienced people too. I come across a lot of ppl online who claim Garuda and Titan is "so easy" when I clearly remember them sucking as bad as anyone else early on lol.

Elitists could basically be almost completely removed from the game (or other MMORPG) if the following mechanism existed (which is probably not possible):

1) All battles of significance (primal fights, boss fights, etc.) for a player are recorded and archived starting from day 1 and stored on a server. This includes video of the fight and information such as the gear the player had at the time,etc.

2) All these records are publicly accessible to anyone playing the game currently and can be linked for anyone else to view.

Next time an "elitists" goes around being an ass - just look up his record online. Most likely, you'll see that he sucked just as hard when he was new to the content. Post a link for everyone else to see and throw it back in his face. Done.

The problem is probably that you are joining the wrong runs. If you want a garuda kill for your relic, you either DF or join a run specifically that says Garuda kill. If you join a garuda farming speedrun, you should expect them to expect you to produce speed run numbers. Its not being elitist, its wanting to do the battle several times as fast as possible.

Sure, gear doesnt replace skill, but skill alone has limitations based on gear. sure, you will find people highly geared that have no idea how to play, but you wont find anyone in low level gear clearing garuda in 4 minutes. You wouldnt want a person with no arms drag racing would you? sure they can drive with their feet, but they arent hitting 200mph (i hope)

What is wrong with people wanting better geared players for their runs? It's their runs and they are putting it together, make your own runs if you don't agree with their requirements.
