Will those who have wasted tomes on Mytho Gear due to Allagan changes be refunded?

There's a difference between NEW gear being added and CURRENT gear being changed.

Why I didn't wait? I explained this above. I needed the accuracy from the boots to complete Coil with my group this week and there was no reason to expect a revert so rapidly.

That's a pretty good point in all honesty.

But I feel like there's still a difference in 3 months vs. 2 days and an actual change vs. a change made in error.

And that was a change for ALL classes that effects everyone. The changes and subsequent revert only effect specific players and classes.

Well wasting 1 week of tomes is not fun at all, they really should refund the players for this mess.

I just checked in game.. and the black mage boots still have the 2.1 changes applied.. They didn't revert anything.

Scheduled to revert for 2.15. I thought since the OP was mentioning it, they got it in this hotfix.
Since that's not the case, that schedule probably still applies. Which means it will revert somewhere into Jan.

So, to the OP, you probably needed to buy it anyway since it may last up to a month

This was posted in Japanese and a lot of people knew they were reversing the change hours after the patch notes were released and before the patch even went live.

Changes to existing items on SE's end shouldn't be spread by word of mouth. It should be translated and be made known to every major language demographic.

That being said, I've noticed alot of things in-game that have just flat out not be translated from Japanese in the new 2.1 beast tribe quests.

You want your tomes refunded even though it's really easy to get them again? Feel free to open up a ticket with them and try to pry it out of them, but if they do it for one person, they have to do it for all - pigs will fly past my window before they consider that. It sucks but don't get your hopes up.
