Every time the tank takes a death sentence they receive a healing debuff. It cannot be cleansed. I'm pretty sure this is the issue at hand.
And pretty sure I said, spike damage = lustrate(Death sentence = spike damage in case you didn't know). I know how to heal on turn 5. But since you're on a whole other fight now instead the one you originally complained about; it seems this argument is derailing into mudslinging. Both sides have their points up but in the end, it's up to the player.

No, I mentioned Siren because we have another boss with another healing debuff now. It has felt broken since day 1. It just feels more broken now that there are two more situations where I can heal through healing debuffs without batting an eye.
Lol go back and read the original post if you think that mentioning different healing debuffs when talking about lustrate is derailing into mudslinging. It's a broken mechanic, the same way medica 2 trivialized AoE damage. And pretty sure I said, spike damage = lustrate(Death sentence = spike damage in case you didn't know). In fairness I'd say "yeah sure go ahead and make lustrate be affected by healing debuffs". But I'd rather have them reduce the cd on benediction.
There is no such thing as "competing classes" in FFXIV. Level however many classes you want to play. People who get emotional about nerfs are ridiculous. Classes/abilities are nerfed because they are out of tune with the rest of the game and are brought back down to scale to keep the game enjoyable.
Lustrate breaks healing debuffs -- they become trivial when there is a scholar around.
The answer to Siren's healing debuff should be to interrupt it every time. Not to turn around and just blow a lustrate on whoever the target is.
The answer to death sentence should be precise tank coordination, not bringing two scholars and not even bothering to use two tanks.
The answer to a tank standing in white breath should be hallowed ground, or benediction. Not having a scholar just blow a few extra stacks on lustrate.

It's your answer, not everyone is the same. Everyone can pick their own play style, no? Or is it only 1 play style is allowed? *shrugs*
If SE lowered the cooldown on benediction, reduced the mana on cure 3 (Hell all the cure skills), made stone skin cast time cut in half + a proc chance to double the skin effect with/without the trait, would ye shaddap on Lustrate being op?
