    This is nice and all... But without being able to get another player to repair my gear I'm stuck with the reality that in order to actually accomplish this I need to level two crafting professions to 40 just to repair the gear for my current class. I've never been interested in repairing my own gear, nor the prospect of leveling crafting professions.

    On another note: I'm not even sure dying more often causes greater reduction in durability, it forces you to try encounters again which contributes to more degradation, but even running a 50 DG with a party that never dies I'm still seeing a marked difference in durability % once I'm out.

    Deaths dont make you lose durability. You can wipe all day on and your gear won't change, unless your killing something like adds.

    I understand that. I wasn't pointing out the lowering of the cost of dark matter as a way to say "Don't worry about it, repairs can be cheaper now with dark matter." or anything like that. I was just pointing it out more as a "Well they lowered dark matter prices, so maybe they did increase durability loss."
