The fact is, I don't care if X-player have 300 milions. So because this guy have 300 milions we "poor" ppl have to pay high price? I repeat, you calculated server economy and shit, but the hell I care about server economy, in my FC probably wont even reach 5 mil (you say enjoy contents, but if we enjoy contents where we get money then?)! Me and some FC friend was gather money for FC housing (pre-update) but, hi, there's no money incoming. Even philo items dropped in prices. Oh by the way SE, is fun to enter in that area full (empty) of that so many housing plots... and not a single house "installed". Good job I say.

I just had a simple question for Mr. Yoshida: how can there be a significant amount of players with several million gil on non-legacy servers? Does this mean there is a huge amount of gil in circulation on non-legacy servers? And if that is the case, where did all this gil come from, keeping in mind gil does not drop from mobs
And I guess those were 3 questions...

I think they are calculating all the RMT bots and traders with all the gil, dont get me wrong they are keeping up well but not everyone wants to spend game time reporting RMT. Its not our job to find them. maybe if they made it more focus to get ride of bots on markets then we might acutually might make something. need a retainer report sub command. but the only people and i will say again are FC's such as Excel that could ever afford these prices. Selling Titan Runs for 200k.

I think they are too.. I mean, they took 10% off to account for RMT, but I really don't think that was enough. I have seen a lot of bots, both underground teleporting guys, and a person running in the exact same pattern in Coerthas for -days- (who conveniently is stopped by trade requests), go unbanned entirely. Even after several people had reported the person. Gil tells are on a huge rise, at least on my server, for the past couple weeks which would also lend to them having tons of gil. It just doesn't seem like they're that good at catching them except maybe during their mass bans, but those are so far between that the amount of money they make before those happen has to be more than any honest player can dream of making.

I'm assuming legacy players existed in a time before the current economy existed, giving them access to gil in circulation that came from places out of Square's ability to put any practical balance to. I'm guessing the preemptive changes by dividing their gil + the calculations of these housing costs got skewed somewhere?

This community complains about things it really shouldn't be complaining about. The amount of servers in a reboot of a failed game? Seriously? ARR had a successful launch, better install a crapload of servers in hindsight of a problem we have no hindsight of. I've played games that are exponentially worse than this one in every aspect and people find less to cry about.

Whether or not they correctly calculated the amount of Gil in circulation seems to be suspect, but i guess that's just what we're gonna have to wait and see. But the amount of people pretending that this sort of ordeal is trivial to handle is troubling.

I take this statement to mean that when I log in after I post this in the forum, that all 130+ names on my black list will now be deleted, since they were all reported the appropriate way, and by numerous other players.

lol This. Everytime they release an update on the RMT and the actions taken against the accounts, I go to my Blacklist, and I MIGHT get one "deleted", but the last few updates, none have been deleted. Getting closer to that 200 limit...

I just only wonder why with gil, and why not with Free Company points, maybe the math is correct and all should be able to buy as a FC but, why not use Free Company Points for it.
