Except...they stated PvE Balance won't be touched which is why they gave us PvP exclusive skills. Guess as with many other things Yoshi says, turned out the exact opposite.
On what grounds do you say they gave us the exact opposite? I see nothing that was touched clearly for PvP reasons at all.



Arbritary removing Thunder from casters, and then giving Blizzard 2 (with increased snare time and reduced damage) seems pretty PvP centric to me.

While it's clearly not terribly hard to have skills function totally differently in PvP and PvE (EQ2 does it, and PvP is more or less an afterthought there), for some reason even major games like WoW do not actually do this and we continue to see PvP affecting PvE or the other way around and nothing good ever comes out of that.
