    Monks have it worse. This has nothing to do with skill. I just posted a video here showcasing my games. It has to do with unintentional deadzone effects due to latency and range checks.

    Melee attack range was increased in ff11 ballista to accomodate this

    guess Yoshida didn't learn much from Tanaka in that regard.

    Have you not seen the moves given to melee? Monks even get a snare that stuns/stops sprint when hitting them from behind! only takes maybe 6-10 fights to get rank 3 and pick one up!
    ps. there are some to remove/immune to stun/sleep/bind/heavy etc. as well.

    Look at your actions skills under your PvP profile.

    It's not so much a positional issue as it is a server character placement issue. You can be standing literally inside someone running with them and still be told you're out of range.

    It's an issue in all pvp, which is why ranged classes will always dominate the scene.
