Changes to Allagan healing gear

It's not a rumour, its already written in the japanese patch notes and was said on the stream which was when the server went down for maintenance.

It will have the exact same stats as the argute mortarboard so yes and no. You really don't have a choice.

You do know the vanya hat melded has more crit than those stats, right? In fact, even if they didn't cancel it, vanya hat would still be better. Mine is fully melded with three Materia IV's and two Materia III's.

Stats stack up to -

MND+12 Vit+12 PIE+11 Crit+16 DET+11 SPS+15

The only thing valuable you lose out on is vitality, but astral ring/bracelet make up for it anyway.
