DarkRain just has a long living jealousy and hatred to botters and will probably keep on posting his tantrums. While I dont care about botters and everyone can do it for all I care. He has a point in that SE have done absolute -nothing- regarding botters and that is where the problem lies, because botters are part of a group, known as "Violating the TOS", included in that is Hackers and RMTers. All which are getting away with everything.

Now while I dont care much for botters because i am one of the few people that know the difference between RMT and BOTTER, it would be nice to see SE acting upon this.

Though I think they know, if they was going to ban every legit botter/rmter/hacker they'd lose well over half their current player base and in its current state they cannot afford to do that. End of the day SE is a business and if it sees money by ignoring, it will take it.

I throw up anywhere from 5-10 stacks of Wind every day, I don't bot, so don't accuse people for the wrong reasons based off anger that most likely even legitmate cooperate in. I undercut everyone on shards because I want mine to sell first and sell fast.

I said it because there have been several bots that craft 24/7 in the crystaliers wards and sell them there. But that really sucks, it's as good as botting, nearly malicious. Now I understand undercutting, but wind shards selling at 130 now? Seriously? Plus, It's usually bots that are able to have tens of thousands of shards of each type.

i remember when i was able to buy astral rings for 150k on sylph 4 years into the games existance, after that they went up 500k+, not sure how the economy works because irl i hire people to do that for me but it sure did suck.

It may seem silly to be concerned about botting right now, while the game is practically in a beta state and the market is so saturated with gil it's practically useless.

But if Yoshi-P gets this ship turned around in the right direction, pretty soon we will care.

Botting and RMT are issues that should always be taken seriously.

Same kind of bot in same place (outside Bardi spawn point) on Istory. Name's Rosean Kindi. Aside from auto-grinding maidenbugs, it used a few cheats that break the mechanics of the game: when nearing death, it would disengage and the maidenbug would *immediately* stop hitting him. The maidenbug would get unclaimed but would not be able to regen health. Meanwhile, the bot has regen'ed to full life and then finishes off the bug. The bot can die with a large damage attack which doesn't give him time to disengage, but I noticed when he came back from the aetheryte he was unweakened. Also, he would routinely walk into the ceiling of the mines to maybe jump to other areas? And lastly, even though he only had an axe equipped, he was able to magically outclaim a mob at range vs our archer.
