Enjoying a game with close friends suddenly means they should be playing the sims? Also the price will only ever go down to 50% of it's current value.I wouldn't phrase it like OP but I agree that the prices are just fine. Prices are going down over time. You don't need the house now, you want it now, and when you can finally afford it, it will be available. The small FCs that are like husband/wife or BF/GF and friends that made an FC primarily to get a house should rethink about what game they are playing.....might wanna switch to Sims or something.
Sounds to me like a bit of both.I can't tell if he's trolling or just deluded, though I'm leaning towards the former. There's no 'challenge' involved in spending millions of gil, just a level of exclusivity which locks out the majority of players from enjoying the new content. Perhaps this is intentional to normalize economies across servers or lure out gil buyers, but it's not going to be a very popular or wise decision to keep it this way long term.
If this was for a certain item/armor/weapon set, sure then i will run around like a headless chicken for 3 months to farm for it.
But for housing? which EVERY FC should kind of be able to afford?!
I...um..
I....just.....
I lol'd...
Nobody has even tried their hand at the new ways of making Gil or figured out sneaky ways to abuse it, yet it's the end of the world because houses are "too expensive". L.O.L.
Because milling 100 million gil worth of corn and selling tortilla every day for for a year is so challenging.
It should also cost 500 mil to form an FC in the first place right? Only the most hardcore of the hardcore should have the right to belong to a guild. Lets make everything an "extreme challenge" cause otherwise we just asking for easy mode hello kitty online.
if its not a challenge then do it. Since its sooooo easy. challenge doesn't always mean kill something hard. sometimes focus can be a challenge just look at all the ppl that fail at dodging titan or twin and other abilities.
I do agree that housing should be a challange and all, no doubt.I am glad to see your finally not listening to all the whiners out there and made Housing a challenge and a coordinated effort between members of an FC I Totally agree with the cost of housing and how it scales down over time.
Finally a reason to have some gil and a challenge/status element in the game. Keep it coming.
What i find kinda funny is that Dev team/yoshi said it Clear what housing would be like and how much effort it would be, and its not even Close. So People have been preparing for this content, and got smacked in the face. Was a motivation factor for many to keep playing during the "boring" period up toward patch 2.1, and i think it was a motivation killer to see the patch note for some. So i can see both side of this issue.
Its like CT, u can enter CT if ur name ends whit an Q, rest of u have to wait until we have controll of the gil floating ingame/server status.
Using content that is so wanted, and ppl have been waiting for so long, to get controll over the gilflow ingam, is lazy and simple, and SE should know better.
From what I've been able to tell, we are going to be making ALOT of gil in 2.1. The housing price are, in my opinion, less than fair, but not game breaking or the end of the world as we know it. We'll see how it all goes.
