Ixals have two feathers and look nothing like yags i was so disappointed. Three feathers at max makes them "feathered" ; ;
I think more beast tribes that seem to be connected to the primals. I posted in another thread my thoughts on the tribes we have now.
I think it's important for them to keep a final fantasy spirit, but not be gimmicky by just adding races from other Final Fantasies. They need to keep it original with the beast tribes in this game since this is a different world. There isn't really all that much that connects this game to XI save for the majority of races and being an mmo. Any other parts are also things that connect XIV to other final fantasies. I am all about them adding more beast tribes...and ones that appear to be connected to summons.
Amalj'aa - Ifrit
Ixali - Garuda
Slyphs - (carbuncle? o.o)
Kobolds - (err... titan due to where they live and the currency they drop known as "titan" etc pieces?)
Basically beast tribes should drop beast coins and have some similarities to those 'primals' they are connected to. So fish faces for Leviathan and icy amazons for Shiva? It can be thinking outside the box, but connecting it to its final fantasy core still.
I wonder if every primal comes with their own beatstribe, heh.
Makes me wonder what kinda beastmen would worship Alexander.
Yeah I noticed that, I just wish they were more feathered and Garuda should be more feathery. From the moment I heard Garuda though, I was SO PUMPED TO HOPEFULLY SEE IT IN GAME!
beast coin should unlock epic nm fight (bcnm)
Lol this is not fair theres nothing left to say that isn't a joke like Spaceship.. oh wait a minute... http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/4056/yovra.jpg lol just under the no joke limit =.=~

I like these from Teknomans post, would love to see them in game as the monster designs are actually one thing the game does very well.
Flamehound
An elemental beast composed entirely of flames. Also works for the alternate version, Frosthound.
Rhinotaurs
Dont remember seeing them anywhere outside of FFVI, but they were pretty cool enemies.
By the way, I think this is a good thread so could you perhaps remake this with the appropriate dev code title. Surprised more people haven't put any input here.
Well my wording was incorrect but it's obvious that I meant the same thing.
