My FC has been storing money by selling Titan runs and can now afford a plot of land for when things go live. It's not a big deal for us. Money has also been donated by FC members.

You don't need to craft to make money. Do you run dungeons? Run them with ilvl49 accessories and sell materia you convert from them. I make 30~100k per set of accessories, while making Tomestones AND dungeon gil.

Not to say housing shouldn't be down in price, I think it should. But how about you insert some other points of view into that biased article of yours?

I actually haven't seen the word hater used on this forum, so I feel like you're making that up. But either way: I agree with you. Just because you have a different opinion than I do doesn't mean you're wrong about the housing prices. I agree they need to go down. How much is debatable.

We're not in disagreement here, though I can't help but notice you can't formulate your own way of wording something and just have to copy what other people say. I guess it is flattery.

And here's right here the crux of the problem. The overinflated prices encourage mercenary behavior and applying a pricetag to everything. Instead of just helping fellow players (as you'd see in a good community), people rip em off with overpriced titan runs and this kind of selfish behavior, contributing to richer players hoarding more and players with less time on their hand and gil having even less.

Excessively inflated prices are just another factor to creating a bad community, thanks for providing the perfect example of that.

I run a company of 20-30 ppl only i think 7 of which do Coil. I have farmed my ass off on the market boards in the past month I made 4 mil to buy my FC a house. I would never ask individuals I do not know IRL to donate these large sums of money to me. I was hoping I would at least get something for them, no cost to them just me. I was wrong sub has been cancelled because albeit some may not have looked at housing too much it was My reason for staying. Ah well

While I can't argue the fact that the prices are high, saying that 250k is as much as most veterans got at the moment is false. I sit at 200k just running dungeons casually, I started one month after release, and I haven't sold a single item in the market.

It's hard to say. Some people spend more then others. It's not unusual to sit at 200k. Especially IF you're a veteran player because OMG melding can get expensive.

I sit on gillionaire category(I am master of the Hand), but I'm not going to make a dent in the FC housing even if I throw every last gil into it. Have I been lazy in amassing gil? A little, but my spending habits are all but nil, can't image those with less stingy pockets.

It will rip you a good million or 2 if you get unlucky in melding. Totally not unusual for 500k~ to be the normal on most servers
