what version of df were you in? LOL assume youre talking about story mode and not hard mode.

I think that falls in under harrassment.
Learn, explore, and think for yourself. Make your choices, take actions, and let yourself be free.

I like the change. I was doing a dungeon last night and the tank dropped when the first boss didn't drop his item.
Everyone in Titan df groups always thanks the guy that is willing to take the hit when the group is bad but now that the timer has been upped to 30 mins I doubt we'll see much if this generosity.

anyone complaining about this is usually that douche that gets voted out anyway.
There is no such option, so the quick answer: against the rule for sure.
Anyway, it be sad if everyone start kick the "learning player". What SE should do is a SCORE system, and allow us to put a minimum req, they might eventually do something like that.
lmao -.-
They said they adding a vote that allow everyone to leave, but that wont be till next patch.

Who cares? The Party Finder is a thing now.

They also added some sort of 'Party Finder' option to the Social List menu. As much as housing prices have burned me this patch, that is an excellent addition to the game. This will allow people to post 'Looking For_____' groups with ilvl recommendation, newcomer welcome/additional comments for various trials and dungeons. Hopefully this will allow people an expedited way of finding groups that are closer to their expectations and avoid some (not all of course) of the random DF trouble of before.

Just sit down (in game, don't actually get in combat) and start typing bad jokes in party chat until the party vote kicks YOU.
So 30 minutes now as punishment for leaving an instance. Bad group/failgroup/harassing members (with no vote kick option available, lets say its been used up for the day with its limited use) Griefing/AFK-ing (i know they will be kicked in 10 minutes but there are way around this you all know). And the player is punished for 30 minutes.
