I'd say everyone shaddap and stick with the WHM/SCH Combo. One obviously can't do what the other does. The classes are incomparable in terms of being useful. They are both needed.

Right! True healers don't need clothes.
I even discarded with disdain my healing drops from Turn 4 once, just to show everyone that "Superior gear is meaningless to a superior Scholar!"
(..it's not like I entered the teleport to Twintania before everyone passed the roll, no no).
I plan on sticking with white mage with the nerfs and such. Holy isn't a main tool and usually use it just to speed things up when i'm bored (I will miss seeing the 800-900dmg). Maybe medica 2 will pull a little less hate now. In my opinion sch and whm were designed to work together and maybe we'll see less whm/whm. Whm has the heals on demand and sch has the proactive heals.
If you cast med 2..and then have to cast TWO medicas after that..why cast medica 2 in the first place? You say adjustement, I say nerf. It's the style in which the spell is used. What it is..in my eyes..is a blatant cry from SE to try to get us to use cure 3 more, depsite that it's still as situational and bad as before.Lustrate might be buffed by 5% but I would rather avoid the Virus change and then keep Lustrate as it is.
It's clear you don't play a SCH when you compare Whispering Dawn to Medica II. WD" is not all that it's made up to be... I would rather keep Virus as it is and have WD nerfed.
And the WHM "nerfs"... well... aren't they more ajustments than "nerfs"? Medica II potency is lowered but it ticks for 15secs longer. Should end up being the same in the end... You just don't spam it like you are doing now. Medica II and 2x Medica and you are good.
Yeah damn, it's not like SCH does not have awesome AoE heals that can bring up a rai....owait.
Na I'm just one who switched from BRD to WHM at launch. You know, when they suddenly decided nobody wants true support classes.
Yes I'm disappointed at current changes and might even unsuscribe (the latter for other changes too, I'm not so reactionary lol) and not sure if I'll bother spending more myths on that class, but nah, I'd have to like SCH to switch to it. I just wish there were more healer classes to choose between/switch to <.<

A large content patch is coming out. So, a lot of things will be changed, fixed, included, adjusted, weakened, and strengthened.
It's simple. Players need time to adopt the change and changing class is one of their effort to settling down to the new era. Moreover, this game is pretty friendly to adopt such class changes after all. So, such exodus(?) is nothing but normal. If they end up far more SCH population or raid PuGs constantly reject WHMs after January, then blame SE for failing 'da balance', not these people who are trying to catch up.
Or, you are concerned about your loot chance which might be compromised by new SCHs? =/

The original poster said what I wanted to say and in a lot nicer manor than I would have. I'm disappointed in the WHM community at this moment in time. I plan on staying WHM and rolling with SCHs in 8 mans and 24 mans. Looking forward to it even.
