FC housing was hyped and promised as being accessible. There was much hope from crafters to regain some usefullness. I feel Housing should be content available for everyone and only exclusive furniture and decoration/trophies should be hard to get by (or end-game battle content like obtaining relics). Maybe they made it so because they can't host a lot of FC housing due to lacking server capacity.

Well if he had multiple characters holding the gil and had it spread through retainers then he could have done it, but I highly doubt it. I have a friend who came from 1.0 to 2.0 with 500mil that he had to spread across characters/retainers to get it here. This friend had all classes to 50 in 1.0 tho, not just battle classes that can hardly make anything.

I will not boycot anything, I will take advantage of all the new gil being poured into the game from the dungeons by gathering and crafting and selling wanted goods on the market, I will donate part of my income to my Free Company's chest.
It will not be tomorrow, it will not be a week from today, but our Free company will have a club house because we dedicate ourselves to it and aren't focusing on just one way to raise the funds for it.

Hell if I put in more gil than others, I make more, I can miss more.
