That's a false statement. During Phase 3 of Closed Beta ALL players were given the option to transfer their 1.0 characters to a more desired realm. So Legacy characters can be on normal type servers.

No you could only move to other legacy servers.

Legacy characters are LOCKED into Legacy servers, we have never been able to transfer to new servers.
Trust me I was there too.. We didn't even have our Legacy servers in phase 3

you're really grasping at straws there. Are you trying to tell me ppl are going to inspect the mounts to see if its flowers or a carpet...?
They said in 1.0 that GOOBBUE mounts would only be available to us, last I checked you're getting a Goobbue.

Like I said I could care less if they gave you a reskinned Legacy Chocobo the point is don't lie to us SE and say we get unique stuff when we don't.

Ours is from the Eastern Kingdom. Theirs is just an oversized plant. I don't see the problem here.

I feel ripped off. I joined the game after the 1.0 goobue mount was announced as a one chance to get thing. They really made a big deal about it never being obtainable again.

On the other hand, I KNEW they would get around it and re-release it. I just figured it would be a Goobue pallete swap or a Goobue with armor on it. The laurel is just dumb.

To be fair it looks like it will take a lot of daily quest grinding to get one, so you prob will not see too many people with one.

And for SWTOR - Are they really? lol. You'll always have people who want to be as much of a snowflake as possible, and it's kinda dissapointing to see at times. XD

Still, I'm glad I chose to make a new character for this game instead of transferring my 1.0 Eidolon. So far it seems like it's been the best decision, save the fact that I've had to relevel a lot of jobs. :P

pretty much. it didn't really mean a problem to me since my highest battle class when I stopped playing (roughly in march/april 2012, which is why I barely didn't make it to 'legacy' which used to annoy me but I'm 'over it') was 21. even the goobue couldn't bring me to at least level up to 30 - and I am .still. not 50 on any of them. lol. but I'm a special case, I know that :P
(I had alchemy at 30-something but heh...)

11 EST on Siren, already seeing half a dozen people with this mount. So no, it's not hard to get at all, just a smidge on the grindy side.

Anyway, I'm stoked about riding a Goobue! Everytime I'm standing around, I always summon my Goobue minion and play ith him <3
