That's about what I have also. I also don't like mindlessly grinding because it's boring, so there's that.

Interesting. Most people I associate with that played with my throughout 1.0 are sitting at around 2 million. Still a far cry short of the mark for even the cheapest house of course, unless ten of us get together and blow all of our cash. And then we have a plot of land with no house, who knows how expensive Scrooge McYoshi plans to make those.

I have only 250,000 to my name. I suspect the majority of players at any given time, will have on a single retainer, anywhere between 250,000 to 300,000 gil tops. Hundreds of millions of gil is not the norm, and one must question how someone even has that amount to begin with.

I just remember the long list of things that were denied in the Beta forums because this or that being 'too difficult' would be 'stressful' to players. Stressful, stressful, can't be too stressful, this is a game.
