How excited are you for 2.1 after the Housing prices reveal?

Well after this it kinda killed me, I like playing a game I can play continously not once a week so now I think it's actually gonna die for me, that and I got a ban because I said management was poor and someone needs to be fired lol don't worry the BBB looks down on trying to cover up angry customers

To me, this is just a boring ol' patch right now, adding in some dungeons to keep me doing the same ol' thing: Fighting. There is nothing in this game but fighting at the moment, and people criticised FFXIII for having nothing to do but fight. They won't encourage a healthy crafting based economy because they are afraid of RMT, they won't allow us decent FC housing unless we're spending all our game time earning gil. What am I supposed to do besides fighting? I understand it is a major part of the game, but with that in mind... I could fight with my friends in AK/WP before. Now I can fight with my friends in [whatever dungeon becomes the go-to dungeon after patch 2.1]. Boy, it would be neat to have housing. I'll just sit here wistfully thinking about houses for a while. Maybe super-cheap housing could be set up in some random slum for us awful people who aren't good enough to make x amount of gil.

I'd say my excitement level is at around 15% because of WAR changes and the ability to join groups that are doing story runs or are new to fights, because at least these kind of things require me helping someone do something that progresses them in the game to a new dungeon. It was around 200% before the housing price bombshell, though. xD

mmm how bout regen? There are no monsters in PvP beside the opposing team to worry about enmity.

How about using Sacred Prism or using Equanimity or Purify. Even Attunement looks like it could be useful in conjunction with Sacred Prism and Equanimity. Even if the aren't the best CD, you will still get stuff off (well maybe once or twice ;P)

Super excited. Lots of new main scenario quests, new dungeons, new fights, new soloable content, improved system stability and increased server polling rate, awesome improvements to the cross hotbar UI.

Not all that interested in PvP, but it looks like it may be fun for people who enjoy that kinda thing.

The high prices of the FC housing are good, too. It'd be ridiculous if every single podunk FC has a gigantic house on Tuesday afternoon.

Plenty to do, enjoying the game, running an FC with 3 coil groups.. Hanging with people I enjoy gaming with. Not going anywhere anytime soon.

Some people are push-overs and don't mind being lied to and mislead, but many of us are not pushovers and we have the right to bitch and moan since we are paying to play this game and we have been mislead about the housing this entire time. So you can enjoy being treated like that, but those of us with selfworth aren't going to sit there and smile as we are forced to bend over and take it.

Bummed (and slightly annoyed) about Housing. Mostly because they leave it till near release to mention 'the bad news' associated with all the good things they have been preaching about housing for the last few months. It's the kind of marketing technique that leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths, formally known as 'the fine print'.

As part of the RP population the idea of a 'Home base' was a fun prospect to look forward to. My FC is determined to save for one still, but I don't know how many players will be left in 3 (or 6) months.

The rest of the patch though I am looking forward to.
