WHAT?! 625 Million for first class House?

If you have a Big FC and they all chip in 200k (300 players in a FC for instance). You will have 60,000,000 Gil and on my server that would get us at most a First class Small House. If We wanted a Big house first class 625mill Each of the 300 players would need to chip in, roughly 2.1 million ( if most players in the guild even has that much.)

Although I don't agree with these prices, if your FC works hard for it, you can def. achieve that mark. ( 625mil is still outrageous though >.>)

Don't forget all FCs will have to get to rank 6 in the first place to even be able to buy a plot, but hey at least by the time they reach it the prices should have dropped from 625 million to around 600 million, that's totally affordable!

Sorry, but you can't ALL have gigantic mansions on the most prestigious plots of land, sorry. You can, however, buy smaller affordable housing.

Even the smallest house on the lowest price category in my server (Ragnarok) is worth way more than I ever had or I will ever have.
I was REALLY pumped up at the idea of the housing system, having my own little place, decorating it, going back there before logging out... Now that I know the prices I had to aknowledge that this is never going to happen, that it's a system that it's never going to touch me the slightest, and basically a feature that I'm paying real money on and that I will never be able to experience in game.
Nobody talked about having a gigantic mansion, even the "affordable" house costs 20 freaking MILLIONS, and I only managed to put together 2 and half millions since the server opened up, saving on everything.

its not that bad on most NA EU servers, except for Balmung Excalibur Hyperion Ragnarok Sargatanas who would spend like 150 mil for the top house after 90 days and those guys are rich, that makes the market go pretty healthy,

all 600+ mil houses are for JP Legacy servers, the japanese play this way more as their servers still even have character creation restriction.
how much is a ice shard on those servers? its like 100 gil on Lamia.

its time to merge those 10 people FCs into big ones if you want top houses.

FC housing coming first was actually a good thing. Hopefully they'll get back to their senses before they release personal housing.

Even the max-sized FCs will have trouble coughing up the money for the biggest land plots on unlucky servers.
Because a 512-member (capped) FC with EACH one pooling 1 million gil will still come up 125 mil short. Cool.

It is not only the legacy servers. 100 million on a new fresh EU server is way too high. I do not know the average size of a proper FC, but if we would say it is 50 people you would still need every member to chip in 2 million. Well I know for sure that 80% of my FC does not have 2 million.

So much for nonlegacy players getting into housing.

My husband played 1.0 before we met. He brought me to FFxiv emphasizing FC housing. So we started our own and grind the ranks out by ourselves. We both expected the housing to be expensive. This is simply unobtainable for someone like myself that has had to earn the gil I have over the past few months.

I am very discouraged and he is unsubscribing us if something doesn't change.
