    Ah, the lovely times in which if you grouped with someone, and if he lost connection, you'd have to wait half an hour to finally manage and get him back into the group...

    Actually FF14 is posed to hit the MMO history records as the "best handling of a launch failure". I can name quite a few "failed on launch" games in the past that would have benefitted SO much from the post-launch treatment FFXIV had.

    Age of Conan and Warhammer Online for instance, two titles with the potential to be very solid, but with such flawed launches (for different reasons) that the stupid idea of charging after the first free month in order to juice the playerbase as soon as possible single-handedly killed them.
