Cheapest land for housing = 4 mil, legacy = 8 mil

So My FC is never getting a FC house as we are a small FC on Hyperion it has the ****ist economy ever if its not end game its worthless! are FC has about 1mil between all of us! and you saying cause we 1.0 players we cant have a house? because some players have way to much money why the majority are poor on this server and will always be poor in your eyes?

This is ridiculous. We have a FC of 15 people or so. But only 3 of us were legacy. We're at like 7mil saved up but that ain't anything for Excalibur prices. And since the vast majority of our FC wasnt legacy they didnt have that kind of gil coming in. 312million for the highest plot on our server.

no big deal. a small FC should have at least 8 members and 1-2 million for each member is not that much.

It's realistic. in the real world we have a bunch of cheapass companies that can't even afford their own office.

Because housing matters why?

Because anything in this game matters why? This glowing relic weapon? What does it matter? The armor? The chocobo barding? Anything and everything in this game has zero value if you're going to look at it as some paltry thing. Housing is a strong source of esprit de corp for any company. For small to medium roleplayers who live on Balmung, a very popular unofficial roleplaying server community, making hardcore raids and massing amount huge amount of gil isn't the source of enjoyment to the title. Relishing friendship, telling tales, and watching your characters grow in an ever changing world is a huge part of the game. All things considered, the largest change this world is looking to receive from a completely non-combat perspective is housing. What benefit does housing have to the people with this much cash in the first place? Whatever it is I'm not here to belittle it, so don't belittle the fact I actually care about this.

Legacy members really get screwed over by this, still cant believe 20 MIL, as if everyone has this lying around. I suppose the personal housing will be 10 mil for a small piece of land <.< depressing

Lol, this is a joke. On Sargatanas - the 2nd expensive class - the item prices are VERY-VERY low. So if you have no money, then you will have no money for a while, because ANYTHING you want to sell, you will sell so cheap you must farm long-long hours for a hundred K.
An example : you can buy peacock ore for 13.5K...

Yes, ofcourse there are a lot wealthy boys with their bots (please don't tell me those guys who selling evrytime 15 stacks of fleece per retainer, is farming the classical way, lol) and a few legacy / hardcore crafter who have lvl advantage at the first months to make and sell lvl55+ items, but now the market is overhelmed with goods and the average player is have just a few hundred K. So yes, this will be a real RMT feast this way. :S

Well as bad as 4 and 8 million were. My server's smallest land will be 20 million. They've effectively made it so only 0.1% of Balmung's FC's can even get an FC house.
