Kinda true, except not a lot on the market items went down 10% so not everything lol, even now a lot of prices of things are not 10% of what 1.0 prices were. You're joking, right? No money was taken from v1. There was a redenomination. Our gil went down to 10% of what we had, but all prices, rewards, fees, everything, went down to 10% of v1 prices, too. Without that redenomination, housing/land prices would be required to be 10x whatever they set now. Think of it as 100 old gil = 10 new gil. SE exchanged our old gil for new gil.

Oh I totally agree with you, I was just asking Arkista what the rush was essentially. /shrugI don't think it will be an easy 1 to 2 weeks. To get the house price cheap enough and my money up enough will be closer to a year. Starts out 8mil how much you think it will go down in a months time? maybe 7mil? Im needing to be able to afford a house for my FC @ the 3 to 4 mil price. When can I see that price?
People want things now now now now. I get it. However, it's not going to kill you to wait a bit. lol

Hopefully he's talking about the people who actually LOST gil. ie you had 10 mil in 1.0, you'd expect 1 mil(or slightly more due to the system giving you gil for obsolete items) but you end up with 500k.You're joking, right? No money was taken from v1. There was a redenomination. Our gil went down to 10% of what we had, but all prices, rewards, fees, everything, went down to 10% of v1 prices, too. Without that redenomination, housing/land prices would be required to be 10x whatever they set now. Think of it as 100 old gil = 10 new gil. SE exchanged our old gil for new gil.
You could easily be working alone FC housing in a FC ifYoshi said 2-3 months and most can get it.
Also why you working alone? the house is for FC so you all work together to make the 8m or w/e price it ends up at... If you are trying to get an FC alone you cant really be complaining lol not the purpose of the system...
Also no one knows how much it will decrease by, so lets not panic...
1) Members in said FC have no interest in housing.
2) Members in said FC don't have the gil to donate.
3) Members in said FC won't forth effort in helping in housing.
Now it may sound like its time to switch FCs but these people are not bad people. Housing is not progression. Thats why I think Personal housing should had been first.

This price model is ridiculous. I've saved since the beginning of 1.0 and a large plot will take 90% of what I have. That's NUTS.
Oh well, i'll wait until they're dirt poor.

The key here is the rate of the price drop.
If it drops at a fixed rate instead of % then people who started in legacy servers are even more screwed.

Took 9 pages, but I finally found the one guy who gets it.

no big deal. a small FC should have at least 8 members and 1-2 million for each member is not that much.
It's realistic. in the real world we have a bunch of cheapass companies that can't even afford their own office.
