Soulscare's got it right. I've never seen an MMO even begin talking about a new job before the first expansion, let alone this early. Its like wondering why the weatherman isn't telling us when to expect 80 degree weather when winter has only just started.
A true paladin... will sheathe his sword.
Apparently, Yoshi-P said that new jobs could be released in major patches instead of expansions. So you never know. We could see a new job in 2.2.
I know I shouldn't get my hopes up and I am trying not to, but I am seriously having issues in game right now because I want to play it since I do enjoy it, but I get bored very easily because I don't really enjoy the classes that I am forced to play and it doesn't really feel rewarding to buy gear with hard earned phil/myth when I am not really happy with the class. It's really frustrating me T-T; And I'm trying... I really am. I've gotten every job to 30, unlocked all the souls and am getting them all up to 50 eventually. Just none of them seem to click with me and I'm worried about how I will feel once all of them do hit 50.
Hang in there. It is very tough to commit to a new mmo. It just is. Mostly because the content trickles out.I know I shouldn't get my hopes up and I am trying not to, but I am seriously having issues in game right now because I want to play it since I do enjoy it, but I get bored very easily because I don't really enjoy the classes that I am forced to play and it doesn't really feel rewarding to buy gear with hard earned phil/myth when I am not really happy with the class. It seems like you aren't really enjoying the game. Don't put your free time into something that feels like a chore; I know many people in here do that, but that's probably why they are always bitter and angry in the first place. Go play something else that really satisfies you and pick this up again once your class comes up. MMOs refresh content all the time so you'll only be behind gear and content wise for a bit once you restart.I know I shouldn't get my hopes up and I am trying not to, but I am seriously having issues in game right now because I want to play it since I do enjoy it, but I get bored very easily because I don't really enjoy the classes that I am forced to play and it doesn't really feel rewarding to buy gear with hard earned phil/myth when I am not really happy with the class. You don't enjoy the game if you don't like to play as any class.I know I shouldn't get my hopes up and I am trying not to, but I am seriously having issues in game right now because I want to play it since I do enjoy it, but I get bored very easily because I don't really enjoy the classes that I am forced to play and it doesn't really feel rewarding to buy gear with hard earned phil/myth when I am not really happy with the class. Stop deluding yourself.
I am not. I enjoy doing dungeons with FC members, and am looking forward to the hard modes and Pharos Sirius. I'm even looking forward to getting smashed into bloody bits by Titan in the extreme fights. I enjoy the experiences that the game has to offer-- I just don't particularly love the classes I'm playing. I don't hate them either. I tend to like support classes like the old Bard from FFXI, Red Mage or hybrid classes like Dark Knight. I feel I'd enjoy the game much more if I had a class I loved as well, wouldn't anyone? About the only thing I can say I hate with 100% certainty are Wandering Palace speed runs.
