Oh man, nice tip with the Mercy Stroke! I will definately do that. Also, I already put Life Surge in my Full Thrust button, as noted in my earlier post. You can also, if so inclined, make a macro with each first step skill (HT ID TT) that is:
/macroicon "accatck"
/ac "Mercy Stroke" <t>
/ac "Attack" <t>
This will save you the slot for MS and will mean it's always used almost as soon as it's available. (you'll never be more than 5 seconds behind).
Also suggest putting life surge in a similar macro with FT as it will get put up while you are mashing waiting on the gcd.![]()

I also found out that you CAN display additional hotbars when using the Cross Hotbar on a PC. I currently have hotbar 10, a verticle hotbar, visible in the space between my chat window and the cross hotbar. I put all my buffs in it, so I can keep track of their cooldowns after I use them via macros. I also have enough space to put some other buttons in there I can click with a mouse but don't use very often, like a class change equipment set to Fisherman![]()
Excellent, I need to look into this. Also, I've found that moving the target's HP bar down by your crossbar is really helpful, especially for interrupting mob abilities. It's good to get as much information as you can in one place, so you don't have to look around at the beautiful game in front of you XDI also found out that you CAN display additional hotbars when using the Cross Hotbar on a PC. There is an option (on PS3 at least) to make hotbars only show up if your weapon is drawn or sheathed. You can make your battle hotbars for weapon drawn and your utility hotbars for when your weapon is sheathed. When your weapon is drawn, toggling between hotbars via R1 clicks will never go to your utility hotbar, but you can still access it with your weapon drawn if you absolutely NEED to by holding R1 and pressing the corresponding button that you have your utility hotbar mapped to. It's very useful for pad players and not hard to set up.
