How? By taking away everyone's ability to log out?
(Seriously, they could just let you blacklist offline people. I don't understand why you can't.)

Also, they can que for a dungeon and wait for the commence window to be 7/8, then they mass spam tells and click commence. You can't blist or send tells to someone in a dungeon. Then they just afk at the entrance to the dungeon like CM or w/e and use the philo to buy philo mats and sell on the ah etc etc etc.

Does this work when adding them to the blacklist manually? Cause I've never been able to get the macro to work (it always says can't find player), but when I go to add them manually it works just fine.
There is something else going on...
They are sending repeated tells one after another and you cannot blist them. They are sending them within seconds of each other and there is no way anyone can log out and log in that fast.

I had this as well. Was crafting and got 2 RMT tells from the same person. As soon as the craft was done I tried to blist with /blacklist add <r>. It said unable to find person. Oh well, I thought. They must have logged already. As soon as the thought finished I got another from the same person. Okay, I thought. Tried to blist again. Same result. Unable to find.
So I did a search. There they were. Tried to blist again. Same result.

It's funny that they would even go through the trouble of preventing people from blacklisting them anyways. Like really, what do they expect to happen?
"Damn, another RMT tell! Well crap, I can't seem to blacklist them. Guess I'll just have to buy their gil."
