You missed the topic completely. OP is not asking for for a tomes handout. OP is asking for the ability to make up lost time when he has time. I agree with him, and it makes sense for a game geared toward casuals to cater to casual play (not being on every day or even every week). I cap every single week because my schedule affords me that ability. However, some people do not have such luxury in their schedule, yet still enjoy the game when they have the time to play it. They should not be held back so long as they are paying their subscription. They will still have to put in as much time as anyone else to earn the tomes. There is no advantage given to them over anyone else here. It is not special treatment; it is giving everyone equal opportunity to progress. The same thread came up on the beta forums from another person in the military.
"Yoshi give me legacy status, I wasn't able to pay for the game because i'm in the Army"
If you're not there, and you don't earn it, you simply DON'T GET IT.
It's along the same lines of; "I know I wasn't at school, or did any of the homework, but uh...can I get an A+ please I had to clip my dogs toe-nails!"
(I can understand your frustration, but this would just simply never happen)

asking for unobtained myths to not expire every week is exactly like asking for a free legacy accountThe same thread came up on the beta forums from another person in the military.

please remove rested bonus xp, ppl shouldn't get free xp for doing nothing, please bring back fatigue and cap xp per job per week

I like the idea, have a hard cap though, similar to guild leves. But the rollover only starts once you earn your first tome so you don't gain a huge buffer before you hit the ability to gain them.

I support a rollover but not for months, at most 3 weeks, i.e. 900 tomes in the current state. Even just for 2 weeks is a great improvement. Real life can be hectic sometimes and it'd be great to know that if I miss a week of capping, I could catch up the next week.
Rolling over a month is too much. It may encourage RMT account trading based on the amount of rollover on the account.

You missed my point.
They're asking for the game to change to suit their personal lifestyle, it sounds 'rude' in a way to say 'tough luck this is how the game works', but its the truth.
If I go on holiday, or can't pay for the game I don't expect them to bend their rules/restrictions to suit my own lifestyle.
Maybe I didn't make the point clear, its a similar circumstance, not identical. You missed the topic completely. OP is not asking for for a tomes handout. You're asking them to change something, based on your work. It's not the same scenario, but a similar one.
Do the vast majority suffer this issue? No.
My point being there has to be a cap, and they've set it. They're increasing the cap in 2.1, it'll take you two weeks to get a body piece for any job now for Mythology AF+1 catching up won't be an issue.
Yohi-P himself said that content would get easier and the previous gear easier to obtain as things moved along so that people could catch up if they got 'left behind'.

That is not true. There's a maximum to how much you can improve your gear, so you will be continuously approaching everyone else. You leave for 2 months, come back, no one wants to raid with you because your behind in gear now. Unfortunatly even if you try you can not catch up in gear because it will take you exactly 2 months to do so, in that time you are still getting pushed further behind the curve as everyone else progresses. The cap system completely cuts off some of your player base.

Ok...let me get this straight. Much like rollover minutes, if you don't use the weekly limit, it will roll over to the next week.
But, if you don't use the weekly limit, what makes you eager to use "twice" the limit next week? You are just compounding the amount of "work" for yourself. I don't see how a person wouldnt get burnt out faster under that kind of self induced pressure.

^ This is how I see it.
Right now it takes 10 WP runs to cap. If I only get 5 runs, I would then be able to do 15 runs the following week to reach the same 2 week total. But I seriously would not want to have to do that. With my work schedule, it's challenging enough to just get 10 runs. And the more time you miss, it just takes that much more to catch up. So this would not be a desirable thing to do. But it would be nice to have the option if you had no other choice.

i would really like thisssss. there are people who are busy with work and sometimes get like a week off or something. its good for these kinds of people who can just binge on all the tomes they missed out instead of losing it entirely
yeah, maybe cap it to the tome limit like we have right now which is 2000. i think this would be an excellent enhancement to the game.I support a rollover but not for months, at most 3 weeks, i.e. 900 tomes in the current state.
