I have all 50s, 9/9 relics, full HQ gear for every craft and gathering class, 7.5/9 combat jobs fully geared in DL or better, and I'm just as bored as the guy you were attacking for not doing those things.

Believe me, I've tried just about everything and while some things have been enjoyable, it's almost always short-lived because the reward structure isn't there to support it beyond the initial novelty factor.

If the game was really made around the armory system, why are the lockouts and myth cap designed on a per-character instead of per-job basis? Even with 9/9 jobs leveled I can only play these things the same amount as someone with 1 job leveled. That's why people aren't excited about grinding out more 50s.

Nobody is suggesting that at all. The suggestion in this thread was to have CT redesigned as hardcore content that gets routinely nerfed down to casual level as new parts are added. Since everyone will get to enjoy it that way, that's hardly selfish.

Coil was always slated for launch.

Most people find those things incredibly boring and unsatisfying, but whereas you attacked someone for what they don't enjoy, I'm not going to attack you for what you do enjoy. I personally don't find enjoyment in "do the same thing thousands of times" achievements.
