New Classes

Warrior, Monk, Thief, Red Mage, White Mage, Black Mage, Paladin, Dark Knight, Ranger, Beastmaster, Bard, Dragoon, Samurai, Ninja, Summoner, Blue Mage, Corsair, Puppetmaster?, Dancer, and Scholar.

Joking aside, I wouldn't mind if they did add some of the Traditional Classes to the game, instead of hacking them up and stitching them together....

But if I wanted a new job, I'd have to go with Blue Mage or Dancer. Those were fun.

(Spoiler Alert), I don't think we'll have Summoner, due to the storyline implications. They'd have to seriously pull it out of their....

Really, REALLY would like to see Samurai, and see it as a DD class. I like sword-wielding characters, but the Gladiator isn't exactly my cup of tea. I still play it because I like using a sword that much, but I'd rather not be a tank or carry a shield.

I would like to hear from everyone on what you would like to see be put into ffxiv. Myself personally would like to see summoner be added.

I doubt Summoner since Leviathan, Ifrit, Bahamut, Titan-not sure have been spotted in the game.

Well Bahamut's kinda dead, and Ifrit, Titan, Leviathan, and the rest of the traditional summons that were born from the last breath of Bahamut are all the primals worshiped by the beast tribes.

That was all datamined way back when the original development team was making the game. All of that is subject to change now. They've probably already made plans to remove most of that.

I would like to see a gunblade class. If the empire gets 'em, why shouldn't we. I don't know what the class would be called, but hey, you got your close up DPS, and you can use bullets in range/offhand. So why not.
