I want Dark Knight PLS PLS PLS!!!!!
Well other than the two classes we know will be added next? ( Arcanist and Musketeer) Also some may mention DRK or other such classes, in an interview on one of the fansites it mentioned a system being worked on , here I will post this one question from the Eorzeapedia.com interview.
Q. You have also mentioned the possible introduction of traditional names. How do you see these new names fitting into the existing class system? Do you plan on using the new names as a guide to develop class uniqueness?
A. Yoshida-san is between two possible plans at this time. The first idea is that the traditional names would be introduced as “higher” or “advanced” classes. The traditional classes would thus be something of a goal for players. The second idea is that the traditional names would be more of a subset or specialization within the existing classes.
Whatever change is put into effect needs to be right. He recognizes that he will not be able to change the system again after this, so whatever is put into place needs to work, and be able to be balanced, for years to come. Because of this his team is giving this issue a lot of thought prior to implementation.
New classes I would like see is Bard or other buff/support classes.
I want to see a Poisoner or Necromancer
I have to thank Square-Enix for the amazing job they have done recreating Final Fantasy XIV from Scratch. Especially the inclusion of Missing Genders which we petitioned for in good faith. This was proof to us players that the Developers are truly Sympathetic to our requests and that being honest and vocal can pay off with the amazing characters we have who are Female Roegadyn, Male Miqote, and Female Highlanders. Thank You SE, Thank You Community Team, Thank You Yoshi-P.
Beast master but nothing like it was in ffxi. It could have whip and not charm mobs. Instead have pets u could equip Similar to wows hunter class. The beastmaster wouldn't attack directly and would do little to no damage at all to enemies. Instead you control your pets every move through commands. The beastmaster would whip their whips after each command or let out whistles or calls. All the pets abilities would be on the action bar and would differ depending on each pet making the class a hybrid class for it could perform many different roles in a group. Beast masters gear would directly effect the pets stats so the pets can keep up with other classes
SAM style class please....Archer up to 50... but sadly nothing else appeals to me in game right now![]()
How about a DoH job of a trapper that catches beasts for beastmasters? Or skins/whatever them after they are caught.Beast master but nothing like it was in ffxi. Corsair, Samurai, and Ninja
If it has to be one, make it Corsair.
The basic classes are the ones I want. White Mage, Black Mage, Thief, etc.
