Post a speedtest.net results image here please.I've checked my connection Alhanelem. I am getting my maximum internet speed and it's more than a few megabits. My PC is pretty old though, so that may be part of it. Though I've upgraded a lot of its hardware like the processor and video card and it was over the requirements to play the game. But it can still take over 45 seconds for me to teleport into Mor Dhana.
.
I just did a speed test for your Alhanelem. I got 7.49 Mbps. Which is what I pay for. So I don't think it's my connection.
I'm not going to post an image because I would have to get a URL for it. And it wouldn't really prove anything anyway because if you were to think I'm a liar nothing is stopping me from posting a fake picture as well. So you are just going to have to take my word for it.

The website provides the URL to you. Did you not see the giant "share" button on the results screen? Why are you so squeemish about doing that? Regardless, that kind of speed is more than plenty for this game. Still, I've never taken 45 seconds to load any area in this game, even an area where Odin or Behemoth is up. So yes, I'd say you do have a problem somewhere. Maybe you need to defrag your hard drive, maybe your PC is near minimum specs, I don't know but what you describe isn't normal, and changing the way the duty finder pops to address an issue that isn't in any way related to it doesn't make sense.I just did a speed test for your Alhanelem. Beyond that, it doesn't even really matter if it pops or not. You still have 45 seconds from the time the match is found to join. The Duty finder servers don't know if you're in an area transition or not. They could increase it to 60 seconds, but nobody should have to wait longer than that especially when they've already been waiting for 15-20 minutes.
I can't say it's necessarily the cause but its time to update your CPU. You can even get a drastically better one that uses the same socket, it would be an easy upgrade.
Dude, you want them to change the system over a godsbedanged coincidence. Get over it, it's not a big deal. The Duty Finder did not find a group just because a loading screen just began. You are missing my point. The duty finder invite happens right as the loading screen begins.
Barely. "Meets the requirements" does not mean "will give off good performance."Either way though, it is beside my point. It meets the requirements to play this game.

You are missing my point. The duty finder invite happens right as the loading screen begins. And by the time it's over it is too late for me to hit invite. This is especially true if I need to change out of my crafting job first. It's EXTREMELY annoying. You still have 45 seconds from the time the match is found to join. And I would turn your comment around and say 15-20 minutes is nothing. I usually have to wait over an hour to get an invite. Now imagine after waiting for over an hour and then missing your invite because of a loading screen? I imagine you would be ticked off also. So in that context I think increasing the time to a couple of minutes is quite reasonable.
And no, I did not see the "giant" share button, and thanks for rubbing that in ^^ I wasn't trying to be squeamish, just didn't want to deal with photo bucket.
