No, what's selfish is people policing others on how they should play the game. I'm glad casuals have a ton of stuff to do. Really, I am. The game needs as many players as it can get to stay afloat. But it doesn't need people telling others how to spend their free time.

As it stands right now, hardcore players play this game more casually than casual players do. They play 2 hours a week and log off until Monday.

Why do people care how others play? Really, it's none of their business. And yeah, people have every right to put gear requirements for their groups just like everyone has the right to form their own groups, without any requirements, if they choose to do so.
