A few thoughts on the lockout.

I'm not a fan of being locked out of content either, it drives me nuts that I can't redo turns in coil (even w/o loot, just to help FC/LS/FList folks). Loot locking can mean more than one thing, as someone else said earlier, it could just lock out your "need" option like back in beta where you couldn't "need" every drop. That would be great, actually coil on a 1 "need" 3 "greed" per week system would be awesome too. CT on a 1 "need" and 3 "greed" per 72 hours.

Will you end up with douches that leave once they can't get any more gear ... yeah, probably, it happens already in AK. I can't for the life of me understand why it happens, since the tomes you get are worth more than the actual drops, but it does happen.

I get the need for some form of slowing progression though, as much as some of us say "Let me go all I want." what we don't consider on the flip side of that instant gratification approach is that we do the run 10 times a day for 2 weeks, have every drop then bitch for 2.5 months that there's nothing left to do. SE is tempering that some because we don't seem able to do it ourselves.

If you think that you don't fit into that group ask: How often does it take you past Wed. to cap your myth and clear what you can of coil?
If the answer is: More or less never. Then chances are you do actually fit into that group.
