    How to release raid content for both casual and hard core players every patch.

    Current system
    2.0 = Coil (Hardcore)
    2.1 = CT (Casual)
    2.2 = Coil (Hardcore)
    2.3 = CT (Casual)

    So for those in established FCs that want to progress through new challenging content and don't just want 24 man mindless clobberfests like praetorium, we only get challenging content every 2 patches because Se wants casual raids too. But wait... isn't the current system like this?
    2.0 = Coil (Hardcore)
    2.1 = CT (Casual)
    2.2 = Coil (Hardcore) nerf earlier coil
    2.3 = CT (Casual)

    So with the current system casuals are actually getting new content every patch while hardcore only get new stuff every 2. since it's too late for 2.1 why not just change the system like this?
    2.0 = Coil (Hardcore)
    2.1 - CT (Casual)
    2.2 = Coil (Hardcore) nerf earlier coil
    2.3 = CT (Hardcore)
    2.4 = Coil (Hardcore) nerf earlier coil
    2.5 = CT (Hardcore) nerf earlier CT

    They should have thought of this earlier and made 2.1 CT a tier above 2.0 BC then nerfed BC with 2.1

    How about making an event where the Hardcores have to keep the casuals alive?

    2.0 = Coil (Hardcore) (Because it's what I want)
    2.1 - CT (Casual) (WTF?)
    2.2 = Coil (Hardcore) nerf earlier coil (Because it's what I want)
    2.3 = CT (Hardcore)(Because it's what I want)
    2.4 = Coil (Hardcore) nerf earlier coil (Because it's what I want)

    And yet the casual argument is always "because it's what I want you to want."

    I see this over and over and over again. Hardcores want stuff to do and don't care what casuals get, because they know they'll always get something. But casuals don't want hardcores to have anything, period. They want hardcore players to play the game exactly the same way they do, and even tell them that "this is what you should enjoy doing."

    Don't believe me? Read all the "you should be leveling alt classes" or "you played too fast" or "maybe you should go outside or get a job" posts, because it's always the same shit. I'm so sick of this already.

    Oh I actually don't care how anyone plays the game or what they want. I just felt the desire to point out one person saying "How it should be done" when it's only a selfish ambition. It's a slow night at the office.

    If you read the OP, his point was that, according to the dev plans, every time a coil patch comes out the previous coil tier is nerfed so that everyone can do it. This means that casual people get new content for them on odd-numbered patches and even-numbered patches, while hardcore players only get content for them on even-numbered patches. In other words, while Coil releases will eventually become casual content, CT releases will never become hardcore content, creating an imbalance where hardcore groups are getting significantly less to do in the game than casual players.

    All he did was manipulate the current model, and claim that's how it should be done. The modified model, whether it works or not was only proposed because it suits his needs. Whether it's right or wrong, I never argued that because it's pointless. I merely shed some light on the intentions.

    This is a very good idea infact. It will not be more work for SE at all, it makes everyone happy, as everyone will be occupied. Sure, it will take 2 patches to fix it this way, but still it is the best option for players and SE. Casuals only disagree because they want to do nothing and be as good as the one who sinks hours and hours into the game in order to be of the first to get down the new content. Thing casuals don't realize is they often play MORE than the hardcore, they just don't play effectively. What in the world is more casual than logging in for 1 hr a week to do 5 bosses and then wait to do the same next week? The casuals are the one who spends MOST time inside the game, but they are just not good enough to take down the hard content.

    Until we get information on 2.3 we don't know what the next CT section will be. They very well may go this route in a way. CT as it stands is going to be two tiers behind after 2.2 so I believe they'll want to slip in an ilevel jump to close the gap. It depends on what their original plan for 2.1 was if CT had made it into launch.
