I completely agree C-Croft, the problem are the folks who act like a manual is *supposed* to be driven with one arm and one leg.

And in fact PLDs should have been nerfed, but since you cant really nerf a job in a PVE game (we would all drown in an ocean of tears) WARs have been buffed.
Its history! Well at least FFXIV history... i mean just read Yoshi's posts, he spoke more than once about the matter, you dont need to believe me.
You do realize that classes get nerfed for PvE all the time. Like Bards. In the next patch.
Did you read Yoshi's interviews or you are just arguing for the heck of it? Because it starts sounding like...
PLD was "overlooked". Should have been nerfed. Instead WAR is going to get buffed.
Im not making up stuff.
"Here we go:
First, I'd like to talk about the boss monsters in the Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 1 and 4. We designed them so that even tanks could not withstand their attacks when they have buffs stacked; however, at the moment only paladin is able to survive through a method we had not thought of. Our original vision for this was that players would clear these encounters by properly removing enemy buffs or kill them all before it got to the point where they would one-shot players.
Since this is content that has already been released and strategies have already been established, we won't be making adjustments to these encounters. Instead we'll be looking into making adjustments to warrior so they can withstand this like paladin is able to."
And if you can read behind his words, when he says "we wont be making adjustments to encounters", he also means "we arent going to nerf PLDs".

If I wanna drive a car being fully capable of using 2 hands and 2 feet, that is a choice. If I would cut off one arm and one leg that makes driving a car harder, but that is a choice as well. Cars aren't "balanced" around people with 1 arm and 1 leg...
FYI in that example a person with one arm and one leg stands for a WAR.
Just stop with the whole BS of WAR is Hard Mode, PLD is Easy Mode. Especially the person playing WAR is the only person in the whole group who doesn't have to put in an effort for his lack of competence as a tank class...it's the other 7 people. If anything the group plays it on hard mode while the WAR is trolling his group on purpose.
Um...you claim I am attacking people, but then you proceed to attack me.
The first time I went through t1 through t3 was on my Warrior, not on my Paladin.
Think before you speak.
And according to Yoshi, this manual was supposed to be driven like so... Of course, if I could get 7 others in a room with me with 0 latency, I would be able to say WAR is fine in coil.
You should have bought an authenticator.....
Your tears feed me....
You deserve to be attacked.
I could be meaner and ask you what job you brought on T5.
Oooops!
Seriously, what's with all the semantics arguments? ^_^
There's always going to be an optimal setup / method to run something and deviating from that will make things hard-er. Often this is intentionally done, and sometimes to inject more of a challenge. Whether you call the optimal setup 'easy mode' or call the hard(er) method 'hard mode', whatever does it matter? Play the game the way you're enjoying it, why worry about how someone else names their method?
