The sad thing is they actually LOWERED the required gear to ilvl 50.

I was over ilvl 50 immediately after hitting my first DoW to 50 and walking over to the MB and spending less than 30k on Amber jewelry, the 55 crafted weapon, and a 55 militia neck. That's stupid low.

On the other hand, someone in Full darklight with Titan/Garuda weapon and AK ring wouldn't be at ilvl 70, so that's stupid high.

ilvl 60 would probably have been just right, which would have been half DL/AK and at least a primal weapon. Less if you made an early Myth purchase. But oh well, I still don't see it being difficult by any means, and we'll probably run it in full 8 FC groups especially if it has a loot lockout attached =p

Maybe, but we don't know how they will do ilvl in this game yet. (Unless, they have mentioned it already? Then I'm wrong.)
I know in TERA, it was based mostly on your weapon and body armor. Accessories played the least part in your overall gear score.
