




It doesn'tNot sure why there is crying about CT.. people cry about how it takes 2-3 weeks to get a myth item.. then they raise the cap so you can get gear in 1-2 weeks. Then there is coil where you may get a piece of gear per week... and now CT where you are pretty much guaranteed a piece of gear a week.. so really at 2.1 we can get 3+ high level pieces per week instead of maybe one every other week. I dont think the complaints will stop until people can get capped max ilvl gear for every job in the span of a week.. but then they would cry that there is nothing to do. where does it end?
Maybe I shouldn't of translated this stuff and just wait till patch notes ><

Na dont say that, you are the only visibility we have into whatever they are planning. Its just the community that is infuriating.. they cry and cry until they get what they want, then they are given what they want and the same people cry about that.
The same people who cry that there is nothing to do are the same people who want no myth caps and no lockouts to finish stuff quickly.
The same people who claim not to care about end game for the gear, cry that the amount of gear you get is limited.
The same people why cry that they dont have much time to play, cry that the amount of gear you get is limited.
The same people who said that they would be PERFECTLY okay with coil locking you out of gear, but letting you do it for fun... are crying when crystal tower is exactly what they asked for.
There is absolutely nothing SE can do to satisfy people, especially when the same people themselves dont know what they want. rabble rabble rabble
like someone pointed out, even if you dont do it for gear, you can still use it as an option for myths instead of spamming wp (although wp will still be faster)
The armory/job system was supposed to be a big thing in this game...But now it is useless. Having 1 loot/1 week lockout on ct gear, primal gear, and a Character lockout for ct makes gearing alt classes pretty much impossible. Why aren't these lockouts JOB specific... At this point I am kinda disheartened. I was looking forward to CT as a way to gear alt jobs. Having to level a full on alt character to do this goes against the armory/job system.
If the translation on this thread is correct, I am severely disappointed with the direction this game is headed, and with the way they are trying to prolong content by making character over job lockouts, and ridiculous caps.
If the lockouts for coil and CT were job specific, I would run on 3-4 jobs a week and have plenty of things to do in between each content patch. If it is character specific, I will be a Monday raid logger again. I played XI for years, and time investment was what held you back, not artificial gates...
I hope this is a mistake(sorry for hoping you translated wrong Reinheart.)
Edit: I do not mind caps, I just want the ability to gear multiple jobs and enjoy the game more. The only way for this to be possible is "Job" based lockouts, not "Character" based lockouts.

Awesome, so now you fully gear in ONE week. then what? this is a brand new game and content HAS to be spaced out until there is enough of it to get a circulation going. Did you really expect them to launch the game with 10-15 different end-game options? thats not the way things work. Especially considering this game is catered to people who dont actually play that much so they feel good about them selves that they have the same stuff as people who actually do stuff.
You should do what you do regardless but I must ask what do the non english players think of this and what is there response to it. What position do the jp think about this. I cant believe they are full of joy.
This issue is simple SE and the dev's dropped the ball and launch the game too early, it seems yet again Yoshi and co under estimated his player base just like they did in 1.0 with the blm garuda burn. It dosent matter if your casual or hardcore this is one of those times that both side (not all) agree on something.
Not only dose this 1 week lock out on loot for ct create issue for gearing up the other 7 jobs, it also dosent help that full FC can not form an alliance and Q up, and last but most important those FC are having there freedom to choose taken away by how this loot system has been designed for ct. Most FC the ones that are not shady have something set up to handle gear drops fairly (not all, but some do). I can understand a 1 week lock out on the ex primals that I can understand but again seeing some players have all relics these new ilvl 90 weapons could possibly be a waste but that is just speculation at this time we will find out soon in regards to those.
