"Hi, I'm a raider raiding endgame content in a new MMO that just released two months ago. I've completed the endgame raid content just like I did when I played WoW, and just like when I played WoW there is no earthly reason for me to log in to get more gear since I've completed endgame raid content. However, unlike WoW I am dissatisfied and upset there is no more endgame raid content available to me."

I'm a raider. I get it. You don't like lockouts. How else do you suggest they gear-gate? WoW introduced Heroic content for raiders who had completed the normal-mode crap. Extreme mode Primals are coming.

The game is two months old, and some of you have been playing long into the beta, how in the nine hells does it surprise you there is little endgame raiding content?

Were you not prepared for this? If you only want to raid, a brand-spanking new MMO is probably not your game. Not yet, anyway.

No, they won't remove lockouts. That's stupid. That would only increase the rate at which content is consumed. They have two options:

    - Increase content difficulty. This is a poor idea because of differing levels of skill. They could make optional difficulties, but that only delays content consumption, it doesn't create new content. In fact, it introduces a new problem: the "I killed Supermega Evilboss on Super-Easy mode, it doesn't feel the same when I beat him AGAIN in Mega-Hard difficulty" (WoW faces this issue with LFR/Normal/Heroic difficulties)

    - Produce content faster than the players can consume it. Considering how fast you got tired of Coil, do you really think they can come out with a new raid tier every month or so? Blizzard churns out new content at an absolutely astounding rate compared to its competition and people still burn through it twice as fast. It takes them ~3 months with their absolutely massive team and budget to churn one out and that's considered absurdly fast releases.

Be realistic. There are other things to do. Either do them, or recognize that the game can only produce content so fast and deal with it.

No, you are wrong, if you are not decides to spend 8 hours or more a day on a video game, then it is pretty obvious that you are not a NEET.

There is also aflaw in your argument. No MMO is able to provide enough content to hardcore player (in which is a very small fraction of entire playerbase, not even enough to keep a MMO running). Every MMO is using PvP to keep players occupied, that is exactly what is happening with Wolf's Den.

If we really follow your logic, then WoW has no content either. You can completed Siege of Orgrimmar within 3 days then just not tough it for the rest of week. There are always contents, but just issue whether you want to do it or not.

Granted more time was spent learning turn 5 and they are downing it weekly. As to CT, the lodestone page says a 2 hour timer. A 2 hour timer for DF most likely means a 1 hour run time unless people are really bad. You are exagerating your numbers.
That's good and all, but again: that's not the way the majority of people play.

Anyone that think this game is a "Monday" game needs to go shave their neck beard. Its starting to get too long.

I have a full time job and Im on 8-10 hours playing this game and have yet to come into a routine. I have so much I need to get done and I've been playing since Beta.

If your a "one-job-no-DOH/DOL" person, how do you really play the game with limited gil access? Even if you cap on all DOH/DOL.. go make sales. This is an MMO, live it, make money, experience your oppurtunities, donate, help out your fellow man, OR go outside for once.

pretty easy. the game has been out for round 3 years and people started arr with only 1 class to level.

One-shotting turns 1-4 is extremely easy at this point considering how much gear and experience most endgame FCs have with it. And a "smooth" clear of 1-4 takes about 40-50 minutes, definitely not two hours. I don't know exactly how many people are one-shotting Twintania but that number will go up dramatically within the next month or so as people get more and more gear and experience. Once people can do it reliably, that's another quick 50 myth.

Also, four hour Crystal Tower...? Wha... what are you smoking? They've made it very clear that CT is designed as casual content that can be completed with a Duty Finder PUG, so it's not going to take four hours. Not even close. Moreover, in the live letter we can see the typical 90 minute timer in the corner of the screen, so most likely it'll take about an hour for a full clear, probably less unless you have really awful PUGs.

Clearing all three primals (once people learn them, obviously) will take about ~45m and will likely award even more myth tomes. They aren't going to make the primal fights take 30 minutes each when even Twintania takes less than 13.

PvP is not something that will be popular with the majority of the playerbase considering this is, y'know, a Final Fantasy MMO. I'll probably mess around with it a bit, but this game's combat system doesn't seem like it'll lend itself to PvP at all.

So then you take another hour or so to cap Myth (450 tomes, not 500) with some 12 minute WP speedruns, and... well, there you go! Please wait patiently for 2.2!

I should add that I am not "hardcore elite" by any stretch of the imagination. I do partake in this game's endgame with my FC, but it really doesn't take much to clear the content once you've learned the mechanics.

No, I am not exagerating my numbers, it is a general assumption for general playerbase. Hardcore elites are indeed a very small fraction of entire playerbase. their number is not enough to sustain a MMO to be running at all. It is general playerbase that is supporting any MMO that up running.

In fact, you are the one exagerating your numbers. Claiming everything can be clear on Monday.

yep. this+1. SE screwed up when they re-released a game to players that already had most of the classes maxed out and only gave them ONE raid.
