    Its a two part attack. The redzone is actually just the suck-in that doesnt deal damage but after that there is a poison AOE follow-up (without a red marker) that hits everyone in close range.
    Not sure if its that you are referring to but i sure thought it was lag too the first few times.

    Absolutely this! So often I am getting hit by this guys aoe when I ran out of it (and far away) ages ago!
    Then I'm thinking, "I hope that healer saw that I did run out of it and I'm not being stupid/lazy..." >__<

    The problem is that due to the server delay, they see you move after you actually moved. But most people don't take that into account... so yeah.

    WP was fun on my laptop. "Moldy Phlem" AoE>Straife left or right>Out of AoE...BLAM so like a few others have stated, it didn't do enough damage, so i started eating them and ensuna'd then continued healing, so when someone eats one, i know they prolly did try and move. my new system, i rarely eat one unless i really dont move fast enough, but i still understand the issue so it doesnt bother me if someone eats one there...90% of the time i expect someone to.

    How I see the new abilities:
    Asylum - Get ready for my holy spam because that's the only healing you gonna get.
    Aero III - I guess I should put some dots up before holy spamming.
    Assize - I need more MP to spam holy even more, also stop getting hit in the face.
    Tetragrammaton - I guess I should heal that tank now.

    I got one thing to say to those some that believe this.
    BULL!@#$. the game is NOT optimized for the delay it has so therefore the game is WYSINWYG(What You See Is Not What You Get). anyone who believes otherwise needs to realize that:

    1. you have a 300ms server side polling delay. this is absolute for all points in the game regardless(though they said they plan to change this for heavy fights/Dungeons and PvP). anyone who says they don't have this delay needs to realize it is confirmed by the devs so yes you do have it.

    2. the game content is not optimized for this delay.(if it was you would not be seeing people getting hit from things they clearly dodged on their own screen)

    3. ANY LAG. network or graphics will add to this delay basically screwing you over. making any prediction for any fight difficult at best(kinda hard to dodge something you don't have time to determine when it will happen. I.E. Titan has already gone for landslide before you were able to predict it due to latancy or lag)

    not staying still can help but zooming out the cam will only let you see more of the playing field and if you already have graphics lag you will only add to that because zooming out the cam causes the game to render more on your screen(in other words if your graphics chipset can barely handle the game and you have it set to only render what you see on the screen, zooming out will only make your game lag more. and I know that some of you will say replace graphics. not everyone can afford to do that.)

    I overall haven't had this issue, but there is one place I always have it.

    In Castrum, the reapers or whatever they are called(black walker things) do something called "Magitek Cannon". The red marking shows it to be a circle. If I go to the front of the circle or behind it (out of it in both accounts), I still get hit. Strafe to left or right and I avoid it.

    This leads me to believe, that in my case, it isn't lag, but just the red markings aren't showing me the true shape of where I am not to stand. Anyone else have this problem? Cause if this is just me, it's kind of weird. I can successfully dodge it nearly every time by strafing it, so it's not preventing me from dodging it. Just I can't trust the circle.

    Gladly this is just Castrum, which I don't go to especially often unless I'm spirit binding so it's not a major issue.

    Good idea, but I can't play a game where I can't do dungeons, which usually are the main source of fun for me. Here they are a pain, and I am a liability to my group. And they aren't going to fix that either: on the contrary, they are basing the game more and more on this "feature", see the Extreme Primals fights. :P
