For those saying the mage gear is the battlemage reskinned :

Except the Hat, everything else is different.
Don't have a complete set though but from what i see it's not really a reskin.

Hmm...not completely. See, you would have a point if there were stats like:

Magic Accuracy
Healing Magic Potency
Cure Potency
Haste
+/- Enmity
Enfeebling Magic Potency
Enhance (Insert traits/abilities here)

But Yoshi got rid of them, so the gear set being shared makes sense since everything is basic stats.

I understand that. I should have specified that i meant from purely an aesthetic perspective.

I just don't like looking at someone and saying "is that a sch or a whm?" it should be obvious... they should have different gear.

The gear is too linear anyway. They need to make more diverse gear for classes, imo. not just "tank gear" "melee gear" etc., etc.

I reeeeaaally do wish that SCH/WHM had separate gear outside of AF+1 (which, let's be honest, sucks for SCH).

The monk set looks great though, glad I decided to level that next.

It's cool that the tank gear is unique. But I can not get excited about rolling on that for my Warrior.

There really is no other way to acknowled6e the set

Reskin is the term used for reallocating assets for higher use, i.e The Mage CT gear looks very similar to the Battle mages (level 32 set) which means it's a level 50 reskin of the level 32 set.

Actually, reskin in armor context means using the same 3D model of an armor and use a different texture. Non of the CT armors are reskins because all the models are unique.
It's not the same as Battlemage like some claim. Different model (collar, chest, sleeves etc).

That's not the Onion Knight gear I was expecting. Looks really disappointing compared to what this concept art showed.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to have noticed it, but this is exactly what that dragoon is wearing. So, really, the 'recolor' is the Bard. Shame the only way to get the matching hat is to have been a 1.0 CE player.
