Did a quick photoshop using a screenshot of the Helm of Light in game it looks pretty awesome.



I wish this gear was able to be dyed I'm not feeling the black mage color scheme.

The Warrior of Light tanking set looks great. Definitely going to get that set for my tank.

However, the others I don't really care for. One thing that definitely bugs me is using different color palettes between BRD and DRG. Same thing is done in Coils. The BRD, DRG, and MNK set look nearly identical, and the Mage/Healer set are just different color. I don't mind reskin of certain armors, but at least make one job's gear set look different from one another.

I like all of them.

It is a bit disappointing that there isn't that much variety between 2 sets of 2 armos (SMN/BLM/WHM/SCH & DRG/BRD), but I do like the overall look of them.

SE needs to understand something though: SMNs and BLMs need different armors. period end of story. Same with WHM and SCH.

I think the caster armor looks pretty sweet except the hat, that looks like a reskin of the lvl 32ish battlemage hat, wish they would have put a little more detail into that considering the awesome body piece, but it still looks better than the af hat.

Hmm...not completely. See, you would have a point if there were stats like:

Magic Accuracy
Healing Magic Potency
Cure Potency
Haste
+/- Enmity
Enfeebling Magic Potency
Enhance (Insert traits/abilities here)

But Yoshi got rid of them, so the gear set being shared makes sense since everything is basic stats.
